November 2014 – participated in launching the broadcasting of the SPUTNIK Russian Radio Station in Armenia (106.0MHz, Yerevan).

On April 12, 2022, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the SBU notified A. Gasparian of the suspicion of public calls for genocide, as well as the production and distribution of materials with such calls. In the book “Denazification of Ukraine. Country of Unlearned Lessons” he pushed the message about the so-called “inability of the Ukrainian state to exist further”, the inferiority and second-ratedness of the Ukrainian nation.

He also called on the Russian authorities to carry out the so-called “denazification” of Ukraine, including military actions, and to ensure full external control. In his opinion, the “denazification”, in fact the genocide of the Ukrainian people should begin with the so-called “DNR” and “LNR” advancing further throughout the territory of Ukraine. He proposed to establish filtration and concentration camps for Ukrainians. The General Affairs Department of RF President purchased this book for studying and using by officials.

In November 2023, a Ukrainian court sentenced Gasparian in absentia to 10 years in custody and confiscation of property."
